    Caterpillar’s Customer Solutions Core Regions Division is looking for a **Sales Representative** to join the North America Customer Solutions team. In this role, you will manage assigned dealers' relationships to market company products and services, assist in the development of dealer sales capability, and drive a customer focused sales approach.

     

    **Role Summary:** Manages dealers' relationships to market company products and services and assists in the development of dealer sales capability.

    What** **You’ll** **Do (Job Duties)

    + Designing andassistingdealersonthe forecast, sales strategy planning, and sales techniques; supporting the rollout of new products.

    + Performing regular sales performance reviews with dealers and ensuring implementation of corrective actions where needed.

    + Acting within the businessprocessguidance on review and approval for variance programs and commercial actions.

    + Presenting products or services for stakeholders, answering any customer questions, and addressing their needs.

    + Engaging and aligning with internal and dealer partners to deliver solutions that meet customer needs.

    + **Effective Communications** **:** Ability to listen andadaptcommunications to meetthe dealer and customer where they are. Speaking clearly, listening actively, articulating ideas effectively and engaging diverse audiences.

    + **Negotiating** **:** Ability topresentownposition and listen topositionof othersin order toachieve win-win solutions.

    + **Relationship Management** **:** Developand engage others with a customer first mindset andmaintainproductive communications and relationships with a wide network of internal and external partners.

    + **Value Selling** **:** Abilitytounderstand what business challengeseachcustomerisstruggling with and topresent product, technologyorservice costs and benefitsto helpsolvethose business challenges.

    Top Candidates Will Also Have

    + **Executive Presence:** Demonstratedability to project confidence, credibility, and authority without demanding it, especially under pressure. In this job role, the selected candidate will interact withdiverse audiencesfrom equipment operators to executive officers of large companies. A successful candidate must be able toquickly understand the audience andadaptcommunicationsaccordingly.

    + **Public Speaking Skills:** A successful candidatewill be presenting every week to customers, dealers,orinternal business partners. Presentations will be a mix of online presentingorpresenting in person. These presentations will often include dealer executives andcustomerbusiness owners.

    Additional Details

    + **Territory:** This role covers2 Cat dealers across three states: KY, OH and WV

    + **L** **ocation** **:** Desired work locationisLouisville, KYwith potential for alternative location in territory. The selected candidateis required toresidewithinterritory.

    + **Travel** **requirement** **: 50%**

    + Domestic relocationassistanceis available to Louisville, KY only

    Summary Pay Range:

    $95,640.00 - $143,520.00
