This role focuses on finishing, molding, and secondary production tasks to meet quality and production standards in a fast-paced environment.

Pay Rate:

_The pay rate for this job is $17 - $20 / hour*_

What you'll be doing as a Utility Operator:

+ Grit blast plastic molded parts using designated equipment

+ Perform plastic molding and related department functions as trained

+ Complete secondary operations such as drilling, tapping, fixture work, and basic machining

+ Mix fillers and hardeners per instructions; inspect parts and fill voids

+ Finish parts using sandpaper, sanders, and hand tools according to job specifications

+ Verify part counts, read job travelers, and route parts to the next operation

+ Meet quality and production expectations while following ISO-based quality processes

+ Follow all safety policies, use required PPE, and maintain a clean work area

+ Support team needs and perform additional tasks as assigned

Available shifts:

Shift timings - 1st Shift (Day)

Job requirements:

+ High school diploma or equivalent

+ Manual dexterity with strong attention to detail

+ Ability to read and follow job travelers/specifications

+ Manufacturing or surface finishing experience preferred but not required

+ Ability to sit or stand for extended periods

+ Reach, grasp parts and hand tools

+ Lift up to 35 pounds as needed
