Position Summary(Basic Job Function)

This is a temporary position to work as a laborer in a wide variety of routine manual labor areas.

Unit Position Summary

Assist others in the performance of a wide variety of routine manual labor tasks, including but not necessarily limited to, the following:

+ Moving, loading, and unloading of supplies, equipment, and furniture.

+ Mowing lawns and landscaped areas.

+ Shovel snow, sand and de-ice walkways.

+ Collection and disposal of de bris.

+ Cleaning, refurbishing, repair, and occasional painting of building areas and equipment.

+ Planting, cultivating and harvesting of agricultural areas.

+ Issuing, receiving, and storage of supplies and equipment.

+ Transports supplies, materials, tools, and equipment to work site using a University vehicle.

+ Operation and maintenance of vehicles.

Perform related duties as assigned including, but not necessarily limited to, the following:

+ Participate in snow plan by shoveling, operating snow removal vehicles and equipment and applying ice melt products.

+ Assist in football tailgate cleanup.
