    **Thompson Industrial Services,** powered by Clean Harbors, in **Reserve, LA** is looking for a **Class A CDL Driver** to join their safety conscious team! The **Class A CDL Driver** is responsible for the operation of equipment including but not limited to Roll Off Trailers and Dry Vans. Your responsibility will be to drive equipment to the jobsite, work with the crew to complete projects and drive equipment back to the yard. This **Class A CDL Driver** will need to have working knowledge of **Class A** driving with **Tanker & HAZMAT endorsements** .

    **Position Type** : Full-Time (with Benefits)

    **Work Location** : Reserve, LA

    **Work Schedule** : 40 Hour work week or as needed by facilities

    **Travel** : 75%

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and always acting in a safe manner.

    + Picks up chemicals from customer locations utilizing vans or tanker units.

    + Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous chemicals/non-hazardous chemicals.

    + Properly secures the loads.

    + Guarantees placarding of vehicle to meet Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations.

     

    Maintains daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports

     

    What does it take to work for Thompson Industrial?

     

    + Class A CDL License Required;

    + Tanker Endorsement Required

    + Hazmat Endorsement Required

    + Minimum of 2 years of experience

    + Must be able to obtain TWIC upon hire.

    + High School Diploma or Equivalent

    + Ability to perform manual labor as required.
