    Position Overview

    We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Gastroenterologist with expertise in complex and advanced GI procedures to join our multidisciplinary team. This position offers the opportunity to work in a Collaboration with transplant surgeons, hepatologists, hepatobiliary specialists and interventional radiologists, serving a diverse patient population with challenging and rewarding cases.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Perform advanced endoscopic procedures, including:

    + ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography)

    + EUS (Endoscopic Ultrasound)

    + Complex polypectomy and mucosal resection

    + Manage patients with complex hepatobiliary and pancreatic disorders.

    + Collaborate closely with transplant teams for pre- and post-operative GI care.

    + Participate in inpatient consults and outpatient clinic.

    + Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and clinical research (optional).

    + Share call responsibilities within the GI group.

    Qualifications

    + MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.

    + Board Certified/Eligible in Gastroenterology.

    + Advanced endoscopy fellowship training.

    + Eligible for Texas medical licensure.

    + Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a commitment to patient-centered care.
