    As a Material Handler in Laredo, TX, you’ll play an important role in making sure freight gets where it needs to go, using your experience to assist with essential warehouse operations.

    Responsibilities for the Material Handler include but are not limited to:

    + Assisting with shipping and receiving activities, including unloading trucks and checking in merchandise.

    + Operating a forklift to move and distribute items within the warehouse safely and efficiently.

    + Reading customer orders, work orders, and shipping orders to determine items to be moved, gathered, and shipped.

    + Ensuring the warehouse is accessible and safe for traffic, completing all work in adherence to safety policies and procedures.

    Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered:

    + A minimum of 2 years of Forklift experience, preferably in a freight or Less-than-Truckload (LTL) environment.

    + Availability to work the shift of M-F, 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM, with flexibility for varying shifts (days, evenings, nights, weekends).

    + The ability to do basic math calculations, with and without a calculator.

    + Must be at least 18 years of age.

    + _Preferred:_ Experience loading and unloading trailers, and basic written and verbal communication skills.

    **Pay Details:** $15.00 per hour
