Maintenance Technician

Position Summary
An Adecco client is seeking a skilled **Maintenance Technician** to support equipment reliability and facility operations at our Dixon, CA processing facility. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment, refrigeration systems, and facility infrastructure to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations. The ideal candidate is hands-on, safety-focused, and experienced in industrial or food manufacturing environments.
Key Responsibilities
+ Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment, refrigeration systems, and facility infrastructure.
+ Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
+ Support cold storage and refrigeration equipment including compressors, evaporators, condensers, and temperature controls.
+ Maintain compliance with **USDA, OSHA, FDA, and food safety standards** .
+ Respond to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime and production impact.
+ Conduct routine inspections of machinery, utilities, and building systems.
+ Document maintenance activities, work orders, and parts usage in CMMS or maintenance logs.
+ Assist with installation, upgrades, and commissioning of new equipment.
+ Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs.
+ Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
+ Participate in on-call rotation or off-shift work as needed.
Qualifications
+ **3+ years** of industrial maintenance experience (food manufacturing, cold storage, or processing preferred).
+ Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
+ Working knowledge of refrigeration systems and temperature-controlled environments.
+ Experience with conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, and PLC troubleshooting (basic level).
+ Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and CMMS systems.
+ Ability to read schematics, manuals, and technical drawings.
+ Understanding of safety procedures including **Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)** .
+ HVAC or Refrigeration certification is a plus but not required.
+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in cold and wet environments.

Eligible the first of the month following thirty days of employment.
**Pay Details:** $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
