    + Anticipated Start is April 6, 2026, through the End of the School Year

    + 7:45 am to 3:45 pm

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    + English Language Arts and Social Studies

    + Co-Taught Setting with an Instructional Strategist

    + Deliver instruction following established curriculum and lesson plans

    + Maintain classroom management and a positive learning environment

    + Collaborate with the Instructional Strategist for differentiated instruction

    + Assess student work and maintain grade records

    + Communicate with students, families, and administration as needed

    + Participate in team meetings and professional learning communities

    QUALIFICATIONS & LICENSURE

    + At minimum: Teacher Substitute Authorization

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    + Valid Iowa teaching license

    + Experience teaching middle school

    + Knowledge of co-teaching models

    + Familiarity with literacy instructional strategies
