**Job Title:** General Technical Recruiter (Contract)
**Location:** Riverwoods, IL
**Work Model:** Hybrid – 3 days per week onsite
**Contract Length:** 6 months
**Pay Rate:** $57/hour
Overview
My client is seeking an experienced General Technical Recruiter to support high-impact hiring initiatives across technical and specialty roles. This is a full-life-cycle recruiting role requiring strong sourcing capability, stakeholder partnership, and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
+ Own full-cycle recruiting for technical, specialty, and hard-to-fill roles, from intake through offer close
+ Develop and execute effective sourcing strategies to build and maintain strong candidate pipelines
+ Source candidates independently using networking, call lists, niche platforms, and industry research
+ Act as a trusted recruiting partner and subject matter expert to hiring managers and business leaders
+ Manage candidate and client relationships with a high level of professionalism and influence
+ Screen, assess, and counsel candidates while coaching hiring teams through the selection process
+ Facilitate hiring team discussions and consensus meetings
+ Identify root-cause recruiting challenges and implement scalable solutions
+ Ensure accurate requisition management with strong attention to detail and process compliance
+ Meet time-to-fill goals while maintaining candidate experience and hiring quality
Qualifications
+ 2+ years of full-life-cycle technical recruiting experience
+ Proven ability to manage a full desk and source candidates independently
+ Experience recruiting for technical or highly specialized roles
+ Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
+ Ability to work autonomously and prioritize effectively in a high-volume environment
+ Experience collaborating on recruiting strategy with peers and leadership
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
**Pay Details:** $57.00 to $60.00 per hour
