    Overview

     

    Are you ready to put your welding skills to work on projects that shape skylines and strengthen communities? We’re looking for a **MIG & Flux Core Welder** to join our elite fabrication team. In this role, you’ll weld plates to beams and columns that form the foundation of major structural projects across the nation. From rails to stair systems, your craftsmanship will ensure the safety, durability, and precision of large-scale builds.

    What You’ll Do

    + 🔩 Weld structural steel plates to beams and columns using MIG and Flux Core methods

    + 🛠️ Fabricate and weld rails, stairs, and other components to exact specifications

    + ✅ Deliver consistent weld quality that meets rigorous structural standards

    + 📐 Read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols to execute precise fabrication tasks

    What We’re Looking For

    + Minimum **1 year of MIG and Flux Cored Arc Welding (FCAW)** experience

    + Ability to interpret welding blueprints and symbols with accuracy

    + Skilled in tape measure use and hand tools

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Previous experience in structural welding or completion of technical training

    + Strong knowledge of fabrication processes and safety protocols

    Work Environment & Schedule

     

    Our shop runs like a steel mill—fast-paced, efficient, and engineered for accuracy. You’ll work with **large structural beams and components** in a setting designed for productivity and safety.

     

    + **Weekday Shift:** Mon–Thu 5:30 AM–4:00 PM, Fri 5:30 AM–3:00 PM (49 hrs/week)

    + **Weekend Shift:** Fri–Sun 5:00 AM–5:00 PM + OT

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Somerset, WI.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.

    Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job

    classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
