    Job Title: TIG Welder

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder who is proficient in welding on stainless and mild steel (11 gauge – 22 gauge) and aluminum (.125” - .060” thick). The role primarily involves TIG welding, making up 90% of the work, with the remaining 10% involving MIG welding. You will be working in a job shop environment, responsible for reading blueprints and tacking welds according to specifications.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform TIG welding on stainless and mild steel and aluminum, adhering to specified gauges and thicknesses.

    + Conduct MIG welding operations as needed.

    + Read and interpret blueprints accurately.

    + Tack welds according to specifications provided.

    + Use basic inspection tools like calipers and height gauges.

    + Create cosmetic and structurally sound welds.

    + Maintain set production rates.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding of sheet metal.

    + Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

    + Competence in using basic inspection tools.

    + Skill in creating cosmetic and structurally sound welds.

    + Capability to maintain set production rates.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Welding certification.

    + Experience in robotic welding.

    Work Environment

     

    The workplace features eight welding bays on one side of the shop, offering a spacious and open environment. The shop is equipped with new lighting and inventory shelves reaching the ceiling, ensuring a clean and well-maintained atmosphere.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Arlington, MN.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $47840.00 - $60320.00/yr.
