Job Title: Carpenter

Job Description

We are seeking skilled carpenters to join a framing subcontractor to join our crew in the Arlington, MA area. This full-time position will be a contract to hire position and the starting pay will be between $18 and $23 an hour. An OSHA 10 is required and you will need your own hand tools including a tape measure, tool belt, hammer, chalk line, and a utility knife. The role involves removing old wood and replacing it with new wood, focusing on wood framing for a multi-family unit apartment complex.

Responsibilities

+ Remove and replace old wood with new wood in rehabilitation projects.

+ Perform wood framing for multi-family unit apartment complexes.

+ Utilize hand and power tools effectively in carpentry tasks.

Essential Skills

+ Framing experience

+ Construction experience

+ Hand and power tool proficiency

+ OSHA 10 certification

+ Rough carpentry skills

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Looking for candidates with either true framing experience or entry-level candidates willing to learn.

+ Out of the five openings, three candidates should have experience, while two can be entry-level.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
