Job Title: CNC Machinist

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating various CNC machines, including both mill and lathe machines, in a job shop environment. The CNC machines are large, and you will work with G&M codes, edit programs using MasterCAM and Solidworks, and may utilize manual machines and grinders as needed. This position involves working with tolerances of +/- 0.001 and requires the ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools effectively.

Responsibilities

+ Set up and operate CNC machines, both mills and lathes.

+ Perform tooling changes and machine setups every shift.

+ Read and interpret blueprints accurately.

+ Use measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.

+ Work with tolerances of +/- 0.001.

+ Edit programs using G&M codes with MasterCAM and Solidworks.

+ Operate manual machines and grinders as needed.

+ Work with various materials, including low carbon and alloy tool steels.

+ Utilize Okuma and Fanuc machines effectively.

This is a Permanent position based out of Tiffin, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $79560.00/yr.

• History of the building - this is an older building with lots of history - very neat inside!

• Overtime after 8 hours in a shift - Double time at 45 hours - Saturdays are primarily voluntary OT

• New machine on the plant floor

• All tools are provided
