Job Title: Packaging Associate** **Job Description

Join our team as a Packaging Associate in the Rollers department. You will be responsible for various tasks such as working on machines that create paint rollers, assembling tray sets with rollers, paint trays, and handles.

Responsibilities

+ Operate machines that cut fabric, glue it to rollers, and package the rollers.

+ Assemble tray sets including 9" rollers, paint trays, and roller handles.

+ Assist in areas where extra help is needed.

+ Stand for the entire shift while performing duties.

Essential Skills

+ Experience with packaging and general production.

+ Ability to stand for the entire shift.

+ Consistent attendance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Previous packing experience.

+ Experience with assembly and labeling.

+ Ability to use a pallet jack.

+ Capability to lift up to 25 pounds.

+ Manufacturing experience is a plus.

Work Environment

The work environment includes one opening on the 1st shift from 6am to 2:30pm. The facility is not air-conditioned and there may be a noticeable paint and chemical smell, which is not hazardous. The dress code requires steel or composite toe shoes, long pants, and no sleeveless shirts, piercings, or jewelry. Safety glasses and ear plugs are provided and required in certain areas.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cary, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
