    Job Title: Field Technician** **Job Description

     

    We are seeking a Field Technician to install CO2 monitors at various commercial sites, including restaurants and gas stations. This role involves light low voltage work akin to installing a fire alarm system. The installations are straightforward and involve using CAT 5 cabling. You will not be working in residential areas, and you must have your own tools.

    Responsibilities

    + Travel to customer sites to install CO2 monitors.

    + Install monitors directly to systems using CAT 5 cabling.

    + Document installation details and locations for daily reporting.

    + Communicate politely and effectively with current customers.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience with installation and cable install.

    + Proficiency with hand tools and a mechanically inclined mindset.

    + Ability to work independently and demonstrate honesty in all tasks.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Previous experience with low voltage or light electrical work is advantageous.

    + Experience in facilities maintenance, carpentry, or as a handyman is beneficial.

    + Driving experience is helpful due to the travel requirements of the role.

    + No formal education or certifications are required, but DIY skills are a plus.

    Work Environment

    The position involves working at new construction or existing commercial sites such as restaurants and gas stations. You will begin your day by picking up supplies from the shop before heading out to various customer locations. The work schedule is from 7 am to 3 pm, with potential early starts at 6:30 am on some days. This role requires you to be self-managed, documenting your activities throughout the day. The work does not include residential areas and involves independent tasks with minimal field management.

    This is a Contract position based out of Tampa, FL.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
