- Current GCSD Employee.

- CPI or TCI Certification required.

- Meeting or exceeding standards or Effective or Highly Effective as determined by the Professional Performance Review Process.

- Demonstrated leadership in current position.

Desired Qualifications:

- Expertise in dealing with students with challenging behaviors

- Experience with the GCSD Extended School Year Program

- Experience with the population of Special Education students enrolled in the program

- Excellent communication and collaboration of skills

Position Summary/Responsibilities:

- Assist in the planning and implementation of the extended school year process/program.

- Monitor completion of IEPs and assist with ESY enrollment.

- Formulate class lists and develop schedules for specials and lunches.

- Organize and oversee development of related service provider schedules.

- Assist with initiating programs and providing support for the day today needs of students, teachers, and parents.

- Support classrooms as needed with emergent student specific needs such as behavior, equipment needs, and transportation.

- Facilitate and plan field trips.

- Organize equipment pickup with Facilities/Operations.

- Collect and distribute all students' FBA and BIP.

- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

- Additional hours for ESY planning and preparation to be paid at the GTA Professional Rate.

MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK THE ENTIRE SUMMER SESSION (Tentative dates are July 6th through August 14, 2026)

SET UP DAY: TBD (Attendance Required)

8:00 am to 2:00 pm

(Paid for up to 6 Hours at the Professional rate ($35) per the GTA contract.)

RATE OF PAY BASED UPON:

1.0 Position: (32.5 hours per week) 1/200th of GTA Contractual Annual Salary.

Less than 1.0 Position: (less than 32.5 hours per week) Determined by the number of hours worked per day and paid at

hourly rate based on 1/200th of GTA Contractual Annual Salary.

This extended school year position will be available pending student enrollment.
