    Job Title: Forklift Operator** **Job Description

     

    We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience with stand-up forklifts and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient movement of goods within our warehouse, contributing to the smooth operation of our facility.

    Responsibilities

    + Assist in unloading and loading of kegs (new and used) when trucks arrive.

    + Use RF Scanner and demonstrate knowledge with WMS/SAP systems.

    + Receive bin numbers and locate beer pallets in the refrigerated area.

    + Be solution-oriented to figure out how to correctly locate and move material in the stockroom.

    + Load and unload shipping trucks.

    + Prep packages for shipping.

    + Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse during downtime.

    Essential Skills

    + Stand-up forklift experience.

    + Proficiency in using RF Scanners.

    + Knowledge of WMS/SAP systems.

    + Ability to lift cases up to 35 lbs and maneuver kegs up to 170 lbs.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Must be at least 21 years old.

    + 2 years of warehouse experience.

    + Previous experience in food and beverage preferred.

    + Forklift experience preferred (certification provided on site).

    + Basic computer skills.

    Work Environment

    Our facility offers a climate-controlled environment, though you may need to occasionally enter refrigerated areas to retrieve products. The position requires flexibility to work 2nd shift (3-11 PM, Monday - Friday) or 3rd shift (11:30 PM - 7 AM, Sunday - Thursday). The location is in Richmond, VA.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sandston, VA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $21.00/hr.
