Job Title: Production Associate** **Job Description

As a Production Associate, you will oversee the production line creating various fasteners for multiple automotive companies. You will perform visual inspections and quality checks on finished products, unload hoppers, prepare boxes for shipment, and utilize RF scanners to track outgoing inventory. Additionally, you will load boxes of fasteners onto conveyors, perform minor machine maintenance, and assist with other production tasks as required, all while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities

+ Oversee the production line for fasteners.

+ Conduct visual inspections and quality checks on finished products.

+ Unload hoppers and prepare boxes for shipment.

+ Use RF scanners to track outgoing inventory.

+ Load boxes of fasteners onto conveyors.

+ Perform minor maintenance on machines as needed.

+ Assist with other production tasks as required.

+ Ensure all duties are performed safely and efficiently.

Essential Skills

+ General labor experience in production or packing.

+ Ability to operate machinery and run a production line.

+ Capability to lift 50 lbs throughout the shift.

+ Attention to detail for quality checks and assembly.

+ Experience with forklifts, machine operation, and hand tools.

+ Troubleshooting and inspection skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ High School Diploma or GED.

+ 1-2 years of previous manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred.

+ Previous material handling experience is a plus.

+ Ability to read a tape measure.

Work Environment

Work in an extremely clean facility with a total of 180 employees between Ohio and Michigan sites, with Ohio being larger. Choose between 1st shift (7am-3:30pm or 9am-5:30pm for Quality Dept. roles) or 2nd shift (3pm-11:30pm).

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hudson, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $19.00/hr.
