Job Title: Warehouse Associate
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our team. In this role, you will handle and coordinate sensitive electronic equipment, communicate with vendors, manage inventory, and maintain our dock and storage facilities. Your attention to detail and commitment to efficient processes will support our warehouse operations and inventory management.
Responsibilities
+ Package, secure, load, and coordinate extremely sensitive electronic equipment and systems.
+ Communicate effectively with vendors both verbally and in writing.
+ Notify the supervisor of major discrepancies, over-shipments, substitutions, or damages.
+ Run basic materials reports consistently.
+ Maintain dock and storage facilities.
+ Receive, unpack, and deliver goods; restock items as necessary.
+ Label shelves adhering strictly to Lean 5S principles.
+ Maintain necessary documents to support shipping and inventory activity through SAP.
+ Perform activities associated with the $50M+ warehouse and inventory.
+ Maintain inventory levels using the Lean KANBAN system.
+ Conduct frequent audits of physical inventory with periodic physical inventory audits.
+ Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
Essential Skills
+ High school diploma.
+ Minimum of 3 years of SAP experience or similar ERP in a warehouse setting.
+ Ability to accurately sort, count, and verify items received.
+ Basic understanding of warehouse procedures: Receiving and Inventory Control.
+ Basic measurement and math skills.
+ Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
+ Self-starter and motivated to support the development and improvement of existing methods.
+ Flexibility to work overtime as needed, including weekends and holidays.
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, Outlook).
+ Understanding of material maintenance, product codes and terms, kitting, production orders, etc.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Forklift experience preferred (in-house training available).
+ Familiarity with basic hand tools and measuring instruments.
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
+ Must be able to traverse the distribution warehouse and access various storage spaces and shelving units.
+ Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
+ US citizenship or permanent work authorization required.

Work Environment
The work environment is centered around electronics manufacturing and warehouse operations. The role requires physical activity including stretching, squatting, reaching, bending, pushing, pulling, and twisting throughout the shift.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Frederick, MD.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
