Job Title: Assembler

Job Description

Join our team as an Assembler, where you will be responsible for assembling stainless steel laboratory equipment. You will perform full-cycle assembly and testing independently, using hand tools to construct high-quality products. Your role will involve interpreting blueprints and schematics to ensure precise assembly.

Responsibilities

+ Assemble stainless steel lab equipment using hand tools.

+ Perform full-cycle assembly and testing independently.

+ Read and interpret blueprints and schematics daily.

+ Lift up to 50 lbs independently as part of the assembly process.

+ Troubleshoot and repair problems with minimal assistance.

+ Exercise good judgment in selecting tools, materials, and equipment for non-repetitive assembly operations.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, wiring schematics, and bills of materials.

+ Previous industrial assembly experience.

+ Ability to lift 50 – 75 lbs.

+ Basic knowledge and understanding of assembling products that meet quality and performance expectations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ High School Diploma required.

+ Two years of recent assembly background or related experience.

+ Mechanically inclined with a consistent work history.

+ Experience in electrical and mechanical assembly of products or large appliances.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kansas City, MO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
