Job Title: Assembly Technician** **Job Description
As an Assembly Technician, you will play a crucial role in assembling components for Grain Bins, Grain Dryers, and Augers. You will work in a collaborative team environment at our facility, using power and hand tools, drills, and wrenches extensively throughout the day. Effective communication in English, both written and verbal, is essential, as is the ability to handle conflict and maintain workflow throughout the week.
Responsibilities
+ Efficiently and accurately assemble metal components and parts with correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies according to job specifications defined in blueprint drawings.
+ Use appropriate tools to assemble and fasten all parts per engineering and quality standards.
+ Assist with material set-up and parts coordination.
+ Assist with the assembly of hardware kit boxes.
+ Operate roll former machine and collect metal products at the end of the line.
+ Inspect the quality of assembled components and parts prior to final inspection.
+ Assist other assembly stations and transfer to other departments as needed.
+ Maintain equipment, tools, and work area in a neat and orderly fashion.
+ Report and document basic material, production, and quality control issues.
+ Operate hand and power tools, and other equipment as required to complete projects.
+ Perform assigned tasks to time standards and quality expectations.
+ Maintain professional, respectful relationships with internal and external customers.
+ Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with all safety procedures, rules, and regulations.
+ Assist other team members as needed and perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
+ Experience using hand or power tools in manufacturing, construction, or production facilities.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Mechanical assembly and repair skills.
+ Familiarity with farming equipment and procedures.
+ Ability to lift at least 75 pounds.

Work Environment
You will work in a large fabrication and assembly plant with a small-town feel. The culture emphasizes teamwork, with employees expected to assist in various tasks as needed. Dress code includes steel toe boots and non-offensive attire. Work hours are Monday to Thursday from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with variable Fridays and occasional Saturdays during busy summer months. The role involves routine walking, standing, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, stooping, reaching, and handling, as well as working near moving mechanical parts, noise, and outdoor elements.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kindred, ND.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
