As a **Security Officer - Financial Institution Entry Specialist** in **Tempe, AZ** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a leading financial institution, you will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and employees. You will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring access, managing badge control, and providing exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the front desk.

+ Monitor access to the location by verifying identification and managing visitor and employee entry and/or exit in accordance with established protocols.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as needed according to site guidelines.

+ Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptive behavior within the location.

+ Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and other personnel to address questions and provide assistance as needed.

+ Document and report any security-related incidents, unusual activity, or concerns to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or client contacts.

+ Operate security-related equipment and technology as required for monitoring and reporting purposes.

Minimum Requirements:

+ At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ CPR certification is preferred.

+ Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
