What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for chemical and petrochemical locations.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards specific to chemical and petrochemical environments.

+ Monitor access points and screen individuals entering and exiting the location to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain compliance with site-specific requirements.

+ Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and/or suspicious activities according to Allied Universal and client protocols.

+ Collaborate with site personnel and emergency responders during incidents and drills to support a coordinated response.

+ Remain alert to environmental and operational risks unique to chemical and petrochemical locations, reporting any concerns promptly.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A Transportation Security Administration issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential is required.

+ Access control or badge experience is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ A guard card or license is preferred.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
