As a **Security Officer - Healthcare Front Desk** in **Palm Beach Gardens, FL** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and staff, helping to create a welcoming and secure environment. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk of a healthcare location.

+ Monitor access control by verifying identification and/or credentials of individuals entering the facility and maintaining visitor logs as required.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.

+ Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, including alerting appropriate personnel and providing guidance to individuals at the front desk.

+ Communicate professionally with clients, staff, and visitors, answering questions and providing directions or information as needed.

+ Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related concerns, or incidents to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.

+ Support Allied Universal's commitment to helping to deter unauthorized access and/or prohibited activities within the healthcare facility.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

+ A valid guard card or license is preferred.

+ Access control or badge experience is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
