Job Description
This lab-adjacent role is critical to maintaining compliance and operational efficiency in a growing laboratory. The right candidate will bring both technical depth and compliance awareness, helping to stabilize and scale lab operations.
Responsibilities
+ Conduct instrument qualification and software validation, including IQ/OQ/PQ processes.
+ Validate lab software systems such as Empower, MassHunter, and Chromeleon.
+ Perform annual audit trail reviews and procedure documentation.
+ Troubleshoot and coordinate with vendors like Thermo and Agilent.
+ Provide support for mass spectrometry and chromatography instrumentation.
+ Optimize lab logistics and workflow without direct testing involvement.
+ Collaborate with facilities for new instrument validation.
+ Ensure alignment with 21 CFR Part 11 compliance.
+ Support document control and LIMS (LabVantage) administration.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in mass spectrometry and chromatography.
+ Experience with lab software systems such as Chromeleon, Empower, and LabVantage.
+ Expertise in IQ/OQ/PQ processes and software validation.
+ 1+ years of experience with mass spectrometry.
+ 2+ years of laboratory experience post-college.
+ Familiarity with regulated environments and complex data systems.
+ 6+ months of LIMS and lab software administration and troubleshooting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree in a science-related field.
+ Previous field service experience.
+ Experience with Windchill.
Work Environment
This position is 100% onsite and lab-adjacent. It involves working closely with lab operations without direct testing duties.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Saint Paul, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $50.00/hr.
