We are seeking a Quality Control Manager to oversee construction projects for NAVFAC. The role involves ensuring compliance with quality standards in both minor demolition and reconstruction tasks, as well as the construction of the new Cold Water Training Facility.
Responsibilities
+ Ensure all construction activities adhere to established quality standards.
+ Manage quality control processes for both demolition and new construction tasks.
+ Oversee the construction of high bay portions, administrative wings, and outdoor storage areas.
+ Collaborate with project teams to monitor the quality and progress of construction works.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in USACE and QCM quality control processes.
+ Experience in construction quality control.
+ CQCM certification.
+ Federal Construction Experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with NAVFAC projects.
+ Understanding of construction for wood-framed facilities.
Work Environment
The work environment involves managing construction activities on an existing facility for NAVFAC, focusing on both minor demolition and major construction tasks. The facility will include a high bay area for sub and boat maintenance, an administrative wing, and covered outdoor storage. The role requires overseeing both indoor and outdoor construction environments.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Jacksonville, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $55.00/hr.
