    Job Title: Full Stack Engineer

     

    Architect and develop internal web applications for the management and operations of automotive powertrain testing. The role includes creating applications involving front-end, back-end, and security features for end users.

     

    Must Have Experience With

     

    + Front-end development experience (JavaScript using REACT framework, NextJs)

    + Back-end development experience (must have experience with Python with Flask framework)

    + Experience with Docker

    Responsibilities

    + Create applications with a focus on front-end code, back-end systems, and security for end users.

    + Develop front-end solutions using JavaScript with the REACT framework and NextJs.

    + Develop back-end systems with Python, utilizing the Flask framework.

    + Create applications tailored for engineers to digest and process information efficiently.

    + Manage and operate Linux servers, with experience preferred.

    + Implement React-based processes and management.

    + Handle data acquisition hardware IO interfaces.

    + Manage test data catalog and oversee data management processes.

    + Report and analyze test results effectively.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficient in Python 3+ with web MVC frameworks such as Django and Flask.

    + Experienced in modern JavaScript front-end frameworks including Angular, React.js, and Vue.js.

    + Expertise in relational databases, specifically Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL.

    + Skilled in development and hosting on Linux servers, with IIS experience as a bonus.

    + Capable of implementing enterprise-level user authentication and security protocols, including third-party and SSO.

    + Proficient in codebase management within GitHub Enterprise.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Experience with SQLAlchemy for backend/database tools is advantageous.

    + Familiarity with Docker is highly desirable.

    + Experience with Java, Angular, and Apache is beneficial.

    + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

    + A minimum of 2 years of web development experience.

    + Experience within the automotive or manufacturing industry is an asset.

     

    Work Environment

     

    The role requires onsite training for the first month, after which there is an option to transition into a remote role.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Detroit, MI.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
