Modernization Application Developer
_TS/SCI with Polygraph Required_
_Salary Range: $117,000 - $140,600 per year_
Ops Tech Alliance is seeking a **Modernization Application Developer** to help transform legacy systems into secure, scalable, and cloud-ready applications. In this role, you’ll design and build modern application components that power mission success and enterprise innovation.
You’ll work hand-in-hand with architects, analysts, and integration specialists to deliver software solutions that are efficient, reliable, and future-focused. _THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD_
Responsibilities
+ Design and develop application modules that modernize legacy systems and meet evolving mission requirements
+ Implement cloud-native features, microservices, and APIs to enhance performance and scalability
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user requirements and deliver functional solutions
+ Participate in Agile sprints, peer code reviews, and DevSecOps workflows
+ Ensure applications are built to meet cybersecurity compliance, testing, and documentation standards
Required Qualifications
+ Current Top Secret security clearance with Polygraph
+ Minimum of 3 years of experience in application development
+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
+ Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, Python, or similar languages
+ Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) and DevSecOps practices
+ Experience with version control systems such as Git
Desired Qualifications
+ Experience in application modernization for government systems
+ Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
+ Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLabrelevant certifications (e.g., AWS Developer Associate, Azure Developer Associate)
