    Application Programmer

     

    _TS/SCI with Polygraph Required_

     

    _Salary Range: $97,000 - $117,000 per year_

     

    Ops Tech Alliance (OTA) is seeking an **Application Programmer** to help shape the next generation of secure, mission-focused technology solutions. In this role, you’ll design, build, and test applications that power critical operations while working with a collaborative team of senior developers, systems analysts, and DevSecOps experts.

    THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD.

    Responsibilities

    + Write, modify, and debug code for application components based on technical specifications and functional requirements

    + Support back-end and front-end development activities using modern programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, and Python

    + Collaborate with systems developers and analysts to ensure proper integration of application features and services

    + Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and version control practices to ensure code quality and maintainability

    + Assist in the preparation of user and technical documentation

    + Support Agile sprint activities and DevSecOps processes for continuous integration and delivery.

    Required Qualifications

    + TS/SCI with Polygraph

    + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline, or equivalent experience

    + Minimum of 1 year of experience in software application development

    + Proficiency in at least one of the following: Java, JavaScript, Python

    + Familiarity with Git version control and collaborative development environments

    Desired Qualifications

    + Experience working in Agile development environments

    + Familiarity with DevSecOps pipelines and tools such as GitLab CI/CD

    + Exposure to secure coding practices and requirements in DoD or IC environments
