Systems Quality Assurance Engineer
_TS/SCI with Polygraph Required_
_Salary Range: $81,000 - $98,000 per year_
Ops Tech Alliance is looking for a **Systems Quality Assurance Engineer** to ensure our cloud-based systems and infrastructure meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and compliance. In this role, you’ll design, execute, and maintain robust test plans and QA processes that support mission-critical operations in a secure government environment.
THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD.
Responsibilities
+ Develop, execute, and document comprehensive test plans and test cases for cloud-based and hybrid system architectures
+ Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance procedures, including functional, performance, security, integration, and user acceptance testing
+ Collaborate closely with Cloud Architects, Cloud Engineers, Database Administrators, and Developers to identify issues, troubleshoot defects, and ensure timely resolutions
+ Implement automated testing strategies and tools to enhance efficiency and consistency in quality assurance processes
+ Maintain detailed records of test results, performance benchmarks, defect logs, and quality metrics to demonstrate measurable improvements
+ Verify system compliance with applicable cybersecurity standards (RMF, STIG) and other DoD security and compliance frameworks
+ Provide recommendations for system improvements based on quality assurance findings, enhancing overall system reliability and user satisfaction
Required Qualifications
+ Current Top Secret security clearance with Polygraph
+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience
+ Minimum of 3 years of experience in software or systems quality assurance, with a focus on cloud and hybrid environments
+ Proven experience creating and executing detailed test plans, test scripts, and reporting methodologies
+ Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD)
Desired Qualifications
+ Industry-recognized certifications related to quality assurance or cloud systems testing
+ Experience in federal, DoD, or Intelligence Community (IC) systems engineering and quality assurance projects
+ Advanced knowledge of cybersecurity compliance frameworks and methodologies
+ Experience working within DevSecOps practices and Agile environments
