Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant with expertise in reconciliations, general ledger (GL), and advanced Excel skills. This role is ideal for a self-starter with a broad accounting background, comfortable navigating and reconciling data across multiple entities and shared drives.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Perform full-cycle accounting and reconciliations for four separate entities, each with distinct share drives.

+ Conduct deep-dive investigations as needed, reconciling data across multiple portals and systems.

+ Manage routine and complex general ledger activities.

+ Utilize Excel (including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and advanced formulas) and QuickBooks Desktop & Online for data analysis and reporting.

+ Participate in a potential major system conversion project, moving from QuickBooks to Epicor.

+ Search, retrieve, and validate data efficiently within different systems.

Requirements

+ Demonstrated initiative and strong self-starter mentality with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

+ Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

+ Commitment to meeting deadlines and supporting team objectives.

+ Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Data Analysis).

+ Experience with bank and account reconciliations.

+ Familiarity with QuickBooks Desktop and Online.

+ Ability to create accurate accounting entries and maintain detailed financial records.

+ Experience or interest in future Epicor implementation is a plus.
