Hiring: CLO Modelers & Reporting Analysts- 6 -12-month contract

Protiviti client building out team to support a major transition in waterfall payment modeling and CLO conversion. Roles Available

• Reporting Analyst (2–5 years experience)

• CLO Modeler (2–5 years experience)

What You’ll Do

• Support the transition of payment waterfalls into automated systems

• Help convert Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLOs) into modeled structures

• Collaborate with the Relationship Management team during the shift of responsibilities

• Deliver clear, user-friendly reporting through BI tools and reporting engines

Skills We’re Looking For

• CDO Suite expertise (required for modelers)

• SQL and Excel proficiency

• Experience with reporting engines / BI tools

• CLO industry knowledge is a strong plus

Locations

• Onsite Charlotte, NC Hybrid

• Remote option available for experienced modelers

Timeline

• Transition expected to take 6–8 months

• Target start date: Q1 (January)

Reporting Analyst or CLO (C Modeling Analyst. This long-term contract position offers the opportunity to play a key role in managing credit risk and analyzing structured loan frameworks. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in risk management, financial modeling, and credit risk strategies while demonstrating an ability to adapt to evolving business needs.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement risk management strategies to address credit risk and optimize leveraged loan structures.

• Analyze and evaluate credit risk models, ensuring they align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.

• Conduct detailed due diligence on loan portfolios, including collateralized loan obligations (CLOs).

• Collaborate with reporting analysts to generate accurate and user-friendly reports using business intelligence tools.

• Support the transition of payment processes into a waterfall framework.

• Monitor and assess risk management frameworks to maintain compliance and improve operational efficiency.

• Provide insights and recommendations to enhance loan and credit risk management practices.

• Facilitate the conversion of collateralized loan obligations into advanced modeling systems.

• Lead efforts to streamline workflows and improve data-driven decision-making within the risk management team.

Requirements

• CDO-Suite required. Minimum of 7 years of experience in risk management or financial analysis.

• Expertise in credit risk management, risk analysis, and structured loan frameworks.

• Strong knowledge of leveraged loans, collateralized loan obligations (CLOs), and credit risk models.

• Proficiency in using Excel and business intelligence tools for reporting and analysis.

• Familiarity with waterfall frameworks and agile methodologies.

• Experience with risk management frameworks and due diligence processes.

• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and adapt to dynamic business environments.
