Description
What you’ll do:
• Office Upkeep: Ensure the office is a welcoming and organized space by taking care of
light cleaning, plants, and conference room preparation. Welcome new hires by having
their workspaces ready to go.
• Food and Beverage: Keep the office well stocked of snacks and beverages, managing
orders, inventory, and budget while keeping in mind events and office occupancy.
• Front desk: Greet visitors, answer calls, and provide front desk reception services.Provide
top-notch customer service to all visitors and guests at the reception area as the first
point of contact.
• Vendor relations: Maintain vendor relationships (cleaning services, landlords, deliveries,
office supply vendors).
• Technology Management: Assist others with office technology, from conference
systems to computers and more.
• Administrative Support: Assist with various administrative tasks, including conference
room calendar management, document filing, and scanning.
• Office Inventory: Purchase and maintain inventory of office supplies, snacks, and
equipment.
• Errands: Errands including shipping, purchasing, and lunch pickups within walking
distance.
• Office events: Set up and clean up of conference rooms and the office for events and
meetings.
• Celebrations: Assist in employee recognition efforts (birthdays, milestones, and
appreciation gifts).
Qualifications
• Available weekdays 8:30am-1pm or 9am-1:30pm
• BA/BS degree preferred (not required)
• 1+ year of administrative experience in a similar role
• Proficiency in Gmail and Google Calendar (strongly preferred)
• Flexible, willing to adapt where needed
• Tech-savvy
• Ability to maintain confidentiality, you’ll be interacting with the executive team, and
confidentiality is of the utmost importance
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Self-starter, ability to thrive in fast-paced startup atmosphere
• Time management skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• 21 years or older, will be responsible for purchasing alcohol
• Have reliable means of transportation
