Description Robert Half is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our finance team. As a Staff Accountant, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and supporting the month-end close process. This position offers growth potential and the opportunity to work cross-functionally within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and post journal entries and assist in the general ledger reconciliation process.

Support month-end and year-end close activities, ensuring deadlines are met.

Assist with the preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP.

Reconcile bank accounts and monitor cash flow activities.

Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions as needed.

Maintain and organize financial documentation for audits.

Collaborate with team members across various departments to ensure accurate and timely reporting.

Assist with the preparation of schedules for external audits.

Identify and propose solutions to discrepancies, inefficiencies, or process improvement opportunities.

Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting regulations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

1–3 years of detail oriented accounting experience preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software.

Strong analytical and organizational skills with a high attention to detail.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
