Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team on a contract basis in Los Angeles, California. In this role, you will oversee critical accounting tasks, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is skilled in reconciliation and financial statement preparation.

Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough account reconciliations to ensure all financial records are accurate and up to date.

• Manage month-end close processes, ensuring compliance with established deadlines.

• Oversee journal entries and ensure they are properly recorded in the general ledger.

• Prepare and review financial statements for audits and tax filing purposes.

• Analyze and resolve discrepancies in financial data to maintain consistency and accuracy.

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless financial operations and reporting.

• Support external audits by providing necessary documentation and insights.

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

• Develop and implement efficient processes to improve financial reporting accuracy.

• Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvement and recommending solutions. Requirements • Proven experience in accounting management or similar roles.

• Strong knowledge of month-end close procedures and general ledger management.

• Expertise in preparing and auditing financial statements.

• Proficiency in account reconciliation and journal entry processes.

• Familiarity with tax filing procedures and regulatory compliance.

• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.

• Advanced proficiency in accounting software and tools.

• Ability to meet deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
