    Description

    Jenny Bour with Robert Half is working with a well-established organization that is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Credentialing & Medical Staff Coordinator to support their medical staff and administrative team. This Credentialing & Medical Staff Coordinator role ensures compliance with accreditation standards, manages credentialing processes, and maintains accurate provider records. As the Credentialing and Medical Staff Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting medical staff committees and maintaining policies and procedures.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Manage all aspects of credentialing, re-credentialing, and privileging for licensed clinical staff.

    + Ensure providers are properly credentialed and enrolled with health plans, hospitals, and care facilities.

    + Maintain up-to-date provider information in credentialing databases and online systems.

    + Track and renew licenses, certifications, and malpractice coverage.

    + Prepare and submit credentialing applications for hospitals, insurance carriers, and government programs.

    + Coordinate enrollment in CAQH and obtain NPI numbers for new providers.

    + Monitor continuing education credits and maintain accurate records.

    + Uphold confidentiality and compliance standards at all times.

    Requirements

    Qualifications

    + Associate’s Degree or CPCS certification preferred.

    + 2–3 years of credentialing experience strongly desired.

    + Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse teams.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with credentialing software.

    + Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and maintain accuracy under deadlines.
