Description We are looking for a dedicated Payroll and Benefits Manager to oversee payroll operations and benefits administration for a workforce of approximately 100 employees. This role requires precision, compliance, and a customer-focused approach to ensure all payroll and benefits processes run smoothly. Based in Fort Worth, Texas, this position is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and expertise in payroll management.
Responsibilities:
• Process bi-weekly payroll for 100+ employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Manage payroll data, including earnings, deductions, taxes, and adjustments, while maintaining meticulous records.
• Administer employee benefits programs, such as health, dental, vision, and pre-tax benefits, ensuring smooth enrollment and communication.
• Educate employees on benefits options, payroll deductions, and contributions to promote understanding and engagement.
• Coordinate with benefit vendors and brokers to address inquiries and ensure seamless administration.
• Support HR processes related to onboarding, employee changes, and offboarding as they pertain to payroll and benefits.
• Generate payroll and benefits reports using Excel, leveraging advanced functions like VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables.
• Utilize Paylocity for payroll processing while ensuring data integrity and accuracy across systems.
• Reconcile payroll reports, resolve discrepancies promptly, and prepare audits as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive employee information. Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree
• At least 5 years of experience in payroll and benefits management, including bi-weekly payroll for 100+ employees.
• Proficiency in managing multi-state and cross-border payroll, including prevailing wage compliance.
• Advanced Excel skills, including the use of VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables, for reporting and analysis.
• Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service and employee support.
• High attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with Paylocity is preferred but not required (training provided).
• Ability to handle confidential data with discretion and professionalism.
