    Description

    A well-established manufacturing and distribution company in San Marcos is seeking a detail-driven Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage the full AR lifecycle in a high-volume environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys owning their accounts, maintaining clean ledgers, and collaborating with sales, shipping, and accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely collections. You will play a key role in supporting cash flow while maintaining professional, solution-focused relationships with customers.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Manage full-cycle accounts receivable including invoicing, payment application, and collections

    + Generate and distribute customer invoices based on shipping and sales documentation

    + Apply payments accurately via ACH, wire, check, and credit card

    + Monitor AR aging reports and proactively follow up on past-due balances

    + Research short pays, pricing discrepancies, and unapplied cash

    + Communicate with customers regarding account status and payment arrangements

    + Reconcile customer accounts monthly and assist with AR close

    + Maintain detailed documentation and audit-ready records

    Requirements

    + 2–3+ years of AR experience in a high-volume environment

    + Strong understanding of AR processes and customer account reconciliation

    + Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, Sage, SAP, or similar)

    + Intermediate Excel skills

    + Strong communication and follow-up skills

    + Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
