    What You’ll Do

     

    + Prepare federal, state, and local income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, trusts, and estates

    + Assist with tax planning projects, research assignments, and technical memos

    + Analyze financial statements and supporting documentation for accurate reporting

    + Identify potential tax issues and propose thoughtful solutions

    + Communicate with clients to gather information and provide updates

    + Support senior team members during tax season and throughout the year

    + Maintain organized workpapers and documentation in line with firm standards

    + Stay current on tax law changes and professional best practices

    + Assist with IRS and state notices, audits, and correspondence

    Requirements

    + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (Master’s in Taxation a plus)

    + CPA candidate or actively pursuing your CPA license

    + 1–2 years of experience in public accounting or tax preparation

    + Solid understanding of basic tax concepts and accounting principles

    + Proficiency with tax preparation software and Microsoft Office

    + Strong analytical, organizational, and time‑management skills

    + Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

    + Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a deadline‑driven environment
