Description We are looking for an experienced Seasonal Tax Preparer to join our team in Baxter, Minnesota. This is a long-term contract position ideal for a skilled, detail-oriented individual with a strong background in individual and business tax preparation. The role requires expertise in tax laws and regulations, as well as excellent attention to detail and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare individual and business tax returns accurately using Drake software.

• Apply comprehensive knowledge of state and federal tax laws to ensure compliance and accuracy.

• Conduct thorough reviews of completed tax returns to verify correctness and completion.

• Research complex tax issues and provide detailed solutions when needed.

• Respond to client inquiries regarding tax-related questions with professionalism and clarity.

• Collaborate with colleagues to address challenging tax scenarios and ensure best practices.

• Maintain familiarity with office procedures while suggesting improvements for efficiency.

• Deliver exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with clients.

• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to enhance service quality. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is preferred.

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent certification is highly desirable.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax preparation or accounting is preferred.

• Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Strong understanding of federal and state tax regulations.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with accuracy and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service.

• Skilled in numeric keypad and basic typing/keyboarding tasks.
