Description We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Rock Hill, South Carolina. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with expertise in managing accounts receivable processes, commercial collections, and cash applications. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring timely and accurate billing and collections while maintaining strong relationships with clients.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the accounts receivable process, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing.

• Conduct commercial collections to recover outstanding payments from clients in a courteous manner.

• Apply cash receipts to appropriate accounts and reconcile discrepancies.

• Monitor and track customer accounts to identify overdue balances and take appropriate action.

• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing disputes and ensure smooth payment processing.

• Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable status and collection efforts.

• Communicate proactively with clients to address payment issues and maintain positive relationships.

• Support month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations in all receivable processes.

• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency within the accounts receivable function. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts receivable or a similar role.

• Strong knowledge of commercial collections and cash application processes.

• Proficiency in billing functions and financial systems.

• Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and internal teams.

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial data management.

• Ability to analyze and resolve discrepancies in customer accounts.

• Familiarity with compliance standards and financial regulations.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
