Description
We’re looking for a Business Intelligence Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable analytics solutions that turn complex data into actionable insights. This role blends data engineering, analytics, and visualization—ideal for someone who enjoys working across the full BI stack.
You’ll collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and leadership to develop data models, pipelines, and dashboards that drive informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
+ Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI
+ Build and optimize semantic models, DAX measures, and data transformations
+ Develop and manage data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Data Factory, OneLake)
+ Write efficient, scalable SQL for data extraction, transformation, and modeling
+ Use Python for data processing, automation, and advanced analytics
+ Ensure data accuracy, governance, and performance across BI solutions
+ Partner with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
+ Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize BI performance and refresh processes
+ Document BI architectures, data models, and reporting standards
Requirements
Required Qualifications
+ 4+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics Engineering, or Data Engineering
+ Strong hands-on experience with Power BI (DAX, Power Query, data modeling)
+ Experience working in Microsoft Fabric environments
+ Advanced SQL skills (query optimization, CTEs, window functions)
+ Proficiency in Python for data analysis and automation
+ Experience integrating data from multiple sources (APIs, SaaS platforms, relational databases)
Preferred Qualifications
+ Experience with Azure data services (Synapse, Data Factory, Azure SQL, Data Lake)
+ Knowledge of data governance, security, and row-level security (RLS) in Power BI
+ Familiarity with CI/CD for BI assets
+ Experience working with large-scale or enterprise datasets
+ Microsoft certifications (Power BI, Fabric, or Azure) a plus
