Description We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist to join our team in Bloomington, Minnesota. In this long-term contract position, you will leverage your expertise in machine learning and data science to deliver impactful solutions that drive business growth. This role involves blending technical proficiency with strategic thinking to design and implement predictive models, while also serving as a key collaborator with stakeholders across the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute machine learning experiments tailored to marketing and sales use cases.

• Translate business objectives into actionable data science problems and deliver solutions that create measurable impact.

• Collaborate with leadership and stakeholders to articulate and simplify the outputs of machine learning models for non-technical audiences.

• Oversee the lifecycle of data science projects using tools such as Google Cloud Vertex AI.

• Create reusable data models and pipelines, leveraging dbt to support scalable platform architecture.

• Advocate for the adoption of data science practices, showcasing the potential and value of AI-driven insights.

• Monitor model performance and optimize data usage to balance accuracy and operational costs within the Google Cloud environment. Requirements • At least 5 years of experience as a Data Scientist or AI engineer, with a proven ability to deploy models in production.

• Extensive knowledge of Google Cloud services, including BigQuery and Vertex AI.

• Proficiency in Python and SQL, capable of writing production-grade code.

• Hands-on experience with dbt for modern data modeling.

• Familiarity with digital marketing and sales data; experience with higher education data is a plus.

• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of driving business outcomes.

• Exceptional communication skills, able to convey complex AI concepts to a non-technical audience. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
