Description We are looking for an experienced Tax Preparer to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Falmouth, Maine. This role involves assisting clients with individual tax return preparation, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and delivering accurate financial solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in tax preparation processes and proficiency in using Lacerte Tax Software.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare individual tax returns with precision and attention to detail.

• Analyze financial information to ensure compliance with current tax laws and regulations.

• Utilize Lacerte Tax Software to streamline the preparation and filing of tax documents.

• Assist clients in identifying potential tax-saving opportunities and strategies.

• Conduct thorough reviews of tax documentation for accuracy and completeness.

• Stay informed about changes in tax codes and legislation to provide up-to-date advice.

• Collaborate with clients to address questions or concerns regarding their tax returns.

• Maintain organized and secure records of client financial and tax information.

• Provide exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction. Requirements • Proven experience in individual tax preparation.

• Strong knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements.

• Proficiency in Lacerte Tax Software.

• Ability to analyze financial data and identify tax-saving opportunities.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Effective communication skills for client interactions.

• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and security of client information.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
