As a **Security Officer - Armed Government Patrol** in **Phoenix, AZ** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols and respond to incidents as needed, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training appropriate for an armed patrol post.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of the assigned government location, including the perimeter and interior areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity.

+ Monitor and report any suspicious activity, security-related hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.

+ Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related incidents and provide reassurance to employees and visitors at the location.

+ Follow all Allied Universal protocols and procedures specific to armed patrol posts within a government environment.

+ Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Possess an armed guard card or license.

+ CPR certification is preferred.

+ Possess a guard card or license is preferred.

+ Handcuffing certification is preferred.

+ Pepper spray certification is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
