• Facility Worker - Part Time

    Overview

     

    Reporting directly to the Facilities Manager, the Facility Worker performs miscellaneous custodial duties required to keep buildings neat and clean. This position is 25 hours week (Mon-Fri 7:00 a.m. - noon)

    Responsibilities

    + Mop all floors as needed, clean bathrooms, and replenish supplies, clean interior windows.

    + Empty trash in all areas.

    + Vacuum offices weekly.

    + Place trash and recycle materials in appropriate area for pickup.

    + Outdoor maintenance (shoveling, raking, mowing)

    + Driving when necessary.

    + Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    + High School Diploma/GED

    + Strong organizational and time management skills are essential for satisfactory job performance.

    + Heavy lifting and moving are normal, expected, and necessary to fulfill job responsibilities. Must be able to lift 60 pounds.

    + Duties require normal to above normal physical endurance, i.e. heavy lifting and moving is normal, expected and necessary to fulfill responsibilities.

    + A key position with responsibility for facilities’ security, safety, neatness and repairs.
