The Role
The supply chain trainer is responsible for developing, delivering, and evaluating training programs that strengthen knowledge across the organization. This role ensures employees understand processes, best practices, and regulatory requirements. The trainer serves as a subject matter expert and plays a key role in driving operational excellence in supply chain activities.
Key responsibilities
+ Design and deliver engaging training programs on policies, procedures, systems, and tools.
+ Facilitate instructor-led classes for new hires and current employees.
+ Develop training materials, including presentations, job aids, e-learning modules and reference guides.
+ Customize training content for various audiences, including procurement staff, approvers, and cross-functional teams.
+ Maintain up to date training library.
+ Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy.
+ Assist employees with troubleshooting and navigating activities.
+ Recommend process improvements based on training feedback and recurring issues.
+ Track attendance, participation, and completion of required courses.
Qualification Requirements:
+ 2+ years procurement, supply chain, or training/development.
+ Experiencing in facilitation, communication, and presentation skills.
+ Efficient in SAP.
Must Have
Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of relevant exempt experience; Master’s Degree and 4 year of relevant professional experience
One of the following may be used as equivalent to Bachelor's Degree to meet minimum qualifications:
+ NNS Apprentice School graduate
+ Navy Nuclear Power School (NNPS) graduate
+ Associate's Degree or other formal 2 year program and 2 years of relevant exempt experience or 4 years of relevant non-exempt experience
+ Military Paygrade E-5 or above military experience
+ High School/GED and 4 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant exempt experience
+ High School/GED and 8 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant non-exempt experience
