    Overview

     

    Maintenance Housekeeping is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the College/Clinic building and assist in eliminating distractions such as unwanted dirt and smells from the learning environment.

    Responsibilities

    + Sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, striping and waxing of floors

    + Select, measure and mix products for cleaning jobs

    + Clean, sanitize and polish restrooms and their fixtures

    + Clean and polish classroom and office furniture

    + Remove waste and infectious disease

    + Spot clean and shampoo carpets

    + Stock closets with cleaning and paper products

    + Sweep and shovel walkways 10' from all entrances

    + Check and fill soap dispensers as necessary

    + Demonstrates ability to follow directions and provide dependable services

    + Washing windows and window sills

    Qualifications

    Education/Experience

    + A high school diploma or GED is preferred

    + 1 or more years of custodial experience

    Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

    + Proven experience as a Cleaner or Housekeeper

    + Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance

    + Customer-oriented and friendly

    + Prioritization and time management skills

    + Working quickly without compromising quality

    Working Conditions

    + The ability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds

    + Must be able to work a flexible schedule

     

    Maximum Salary

     

    USD $35,360.00/Yr.

     

    Minimum Salary

     

    USD $35,360.00/Yr.
