About the Role:

Join our growing manufacturing team as a **Machine Operator in Extrusion** focused on grinding, annealing, and value-added processing of plastic stock shapes. You’ll work with specialized equipment like centerless grinders, annealing ovens, a plate planer, and precision measuring tools to ensure products meet exact specifications.

This hands-on role is perfect for someone with strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and a focus on safety and quality.

What You’ll Do:

+ Set up and operate centerless grinders

+ Load/unload materials into air and nitrogen annealing ovens

+ Hand-feed grinders and planer using in-feed tables

+ Measure rods pre- and post-grind to within 0.0005” tolerance

+ Dress grinding and regulating wheels using diamond heads

+ Program and adjust lay-line printing equipment

+ Select correct annealing cycles for different materials and shapes

+ Perform basic machine maintenance, troubleshooting, and other tasks and duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For:

+ High School Diploma or GED

+ Experience in manufacturing or machine operation (preferred)

+ Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices

+ Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

+ Ability to lift and move materials throughout the shift

+ Forklift experience (stand-up and walk-behind) – OSHA certification a plus

+ Willingness to follow all safety protocols and quality standards

+ Ability to work Night Shift-11:00 PM-7:00 PM

Bonus Points If You Have:

+ Experience with centerless grinding

+ Familiarity with plastic or polymer materials

+ Knowledge of barcoding systems or digital reporting tools

Pay Transparency:

The salary range for this position is $23.52. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
