Material Handler

General Responsibilities

* Responsible for supplying all finishing and forming equipment on the shift they are working with large rolls of paper and other supplies needed for the process. Apply labels to pallets

* Responsible to remove the empty skids and move skids containing finished product from the formers to the appropriate staging location.

* Follow all safety rules and procedures and actively participate in the plant safety process

* Supplies such as rolls of paper can weigh several thousand pounds.

* Actively participate in the preventative maintenance program

* Work with Electric pallet jack

* Maintain housekeeping and organization through the department

What you need to succeed:

* GED/High School diploma required

* Ability to read materials to understand and apply content, such as instruction manuals, procedure manuals or assembly manuals
